On Wednesday, April 13, the first lecture was held from the University of Groningen (RUG) for the members of the Innovatiecluster Drachten. By organizing these lectures we hope to gain more insight into all the interesting departments that the RUG has to offer. In the presence of 22 interested engineering from 7 different companies, pprofessor Jayawardhana a lecture on Algorithms in Mechatronics.
Feed-forward steering
The specific case here was an astronomical instrument that, thanks to a new way of feedforward control, had a much higher stability performance, despite the non-linear hysteresis phenomena of this system. Many people were able to pick up their differential equations once again!
The next lecture is about material properties that are also important in 3D printing.
