News / ZiuZ launches new software release for MedInspect – more efficient bag inspection

In the first three months of 2023, a dedicated team at ZiuZ has been working hard to develop MedInspect. This brand new software release offers a range of innovative features to take pouch inspection to the next level, making the process more efficient and effective.

A key addition is the option for training and validation, which allows users to instruct others in how to use the software by means of test data. In addition, several smaller batches can now be combined in one reel, saving time and making the work process more efficient.

To improve the checking process of pouches, the overview window has been modified based on user feedback. The checkboxes for the pouch data have been enlarged to make them easier and more efficient to use, thereby reducing the chance of selecting the wrong box. In addition, the touch screen for ApolloZ operators has been updated with a counter, the total number of expected pouches and a progress bar.

An improved export function has also been added, allowing users to select and export specific data fields, including images of the pouches. This makes it easier to share data, for example with patients who need more information about a specific pouch.

This extended software release makes pouch inspection faster, more efficient and more effective than ever before. It is a valuable and free update for all ApolloZ, IRIS and Photon users.
